Becoming Christ: The Vocation of Women in Theology and Scripture

This article shows the convergence between John Paul's theology of women as reflections of the divine being and Mark's portrayal of women as reflections of Christ. Part I explores the implications of John Paul's encyclical, Mulieris Dignitatem; Part II exegetes the role of the women in the Gospel of Mark; and the Conclusion sums up the convergence of the two and the implications for women's vocation in the Church.
