Becoming Christ: The Vocation of Women in Theology and Scripturemsabin{at}midcoast.com This article shows the convergence between John Paul's theology of women as reflections of the divine being and Mark's portrayal of women as reflections of Christ. Part I explores the implications of John Paul's encyclical, Mulieris Dignitatem; Part II exegetes the role of the women in the Gospel of Mark; and the Conclusion sums up the convergence of the two and the implications for women's vocation in the Church.
